Abstract

Objective:To analyze the relationship between abnormal chromosome karyotype and abnormal pregnancy-labor history. Methods:Peripheral blood sample from 854 cases with abnormal pregnancy-labor history was collected. Then the chromosome was analyzed through the culture of peripheral blood lymphocyte and G-dominance band of the chromosome. Results:Totally abnormal chromosome karyotypes were showed in 41 cases. The total incidence of chromosomal abnormalities was 4.80%.Conclusion:The chromosome aberration is one of the most important reasons of abnormal pregnancy-labor history. It is necessary for couples with abnormal pregnancy-labor history to take cytogenetic examination.
