Abstract
Objective To evaluate phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation for angle-closure glaucoma and cataract patients. Methods From January 2008-2009 on October angle-closure glaucoma and cataract patients with a total of 68 patients(81 eyes) with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation in treatment effects were observed. Results Totally 81 eyes were successfully operated up for 6 month before surgery, postoperative visual acuity, anterior chamber depth, intraocular pressure measurement comparison P0.01 there is significant difference. Conclusion Phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation for angle-closure glaucoma and cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment can be achieved not only to reduce intraocular pressure, but also lift the lens opacity caused by the decreased visual acuity,no glaucoma filtration surgery after surgery because complications such as equipment operation.Reduced by repeated intraocular surgery may increase postoperative cystoid macular edema, retinal detachment and other complications.
