Abstract
Objective To compare the levels of CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes in peripheral blood between pediatric and adult patients with severe hepatitis. Methods Peripheral blood from 35 children and 30 adults with severe hepatitis was collected. The levels of peripheral blood CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+CD8+ T-lymphocytes were detected by flow cytometry. Results Pediatric group, the first year of children with CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes was significantly higher than the 2 to 6 years old group(P0.01);pediatric group CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes was significantly higher than the adult group(P0.01);the first year of children with the highest mortality(P0.05).Conclusion Cellular immunity in children and adults is obviously different.the younger, the more severe disease, the higher mortality, the higher number of CD3+,CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes.Pediatric and adult hepatitis blood CD3+,CD3+CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes were significantly different.
