Research of High- Technology Industry Development

After over 20 years of development,the high- tech industry in our country has become the most important part of the national technology innovation system. It has played a significant role in the aspects of the innovation of science and technology,cultivating high- tech industry,and promoting regional economic growth. It is of great significance for the economic and social development in the less- developed regions like Huai'an in Northern Jiangsu province to develop high- tech industry which at present is still at the primary stage. Based on the theoretic research results of domestic and foreign high- tech industry,this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of the high- tech industry in Huai'an,points out some problems existing in the process of its development. Some countermeasures for accelerating the development of high- tech industry in Huai 'an are put forward with the purpose of achieving the leaping development.
