Clinical Observation of Shenningkang Decoction Treating Chronic Renal Failure

Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Shenningkang Decoction on treating chronic renal failure. Methods: 68 patients of CRF were divided randomly into two groups: treatment group and control group. The treatment group took Shenningkang Decoction once a day and the control group took 1. 5 g medicinal charcoal tablets three times a day. After 2 months,we compared the measurements of 24 h- urine protein excretion,serum creatinine( Scr),uric acid( UA),hemoglobin and symptoms between the two groups. Results: The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group except the situation of UA and nausea and vomiting. Conclusion: Shenningkang Decoction has good curative effect on chronic renal failure patients' serum creatinine,blood uric acid,urinary protein,hemoglobin and the improvement of clinical symptoms.
