Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between the expression levels of TRAIL and its receptors and cervical lesions. Methods:The expression levels of TRAIL and its receptors(DR4,DcR1)in 15 cases of CIN 0,16 cases CIN Ⅰ,15 cases of CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ,36 cases of cervical carcinoma(21 cases of high differentiation and 15 cases of low differentiation)were detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results:The expression levels of TRAIL decreased gradually from CIN 0,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ to cervical carcinoma, but there was no difference among the groups;there was no taxis in expression level of DR4 among CIN 0,CIN Ⅰand CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ,there was no difference among the three groups, there was significant difference in expression level of DR4 between cervical carcinoma and CIN 0,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ;the expression levels of DcR1 decreased gradually from CIN 0,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ to cervical carcinoma, there was difference among CIN 0,CIN Ⅰand CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ,but there was significant difference between cervical carcinoma and CIN 0,CIN Ⅰ,CIN Ⅱ~Ⅲ;the expression levels of TRAIL,DR4 and DcR1 decreased with the decrease of differentiation degrees of cervical carcinoma, there was significant difference in expression level of DR4,but there was no difference in expression levels of TRAIL and DcR1;there was correlation between TRAIL and DR4,DcR1.Conclusion:The expression of DR4 is related to prognosis of cervical carcinoma, high expression of DcR1 in normal cervical tissues and low expression of DcR1 in cervical carcinoma tissues indicate that TRAIL and its receptors play a protective role in normal cells.
