Abstract
Objective:To detect the total bile acids(TBA)levels in maternal serum and urine of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP).To explore the change of bile acid tansporter and its significance in ICP.Methods:TBA levels in serum and urine were measured by velocimetry respectively in 20 gravidas complicated with ICP(ICP group)and 20 normal gravidas(control group).Results:1,the serum and urinary TBA levels in ICP group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).2,the urinary TBA levels were significantly higher than the serum TBA in control group(P0.05),However,there were no significant differences between the serum and urinary TBA levels in ICP group(P0.05).3,There were no significant correlation between the serum and urinary TBA levels in both groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Correlating to great increase of serum TBA level there was no proportionally increased urinary secretion of TBA in ICP,which probably aggravates maternal cholestasis and is involved in the pathology of adverse fetal outcome.
