Abstract

LIU Yu-xi was a great poet in the middle period of Tang dynasty.His poem creating way may be divided into four periods and the thinking content of his poem may divided into four aspects,they are:that of learning from the folk song;that of the political lyrics;that of cherishing the past and ode of the history;scenic and leisurely poem.The art feature of his poems is filled with beautiful scenery,refine implication,natural rhythm,which directly carries on and develops the good tradition of the poems in the flourish period of Tang dynasty.
