Abstract
After the mid-16th century,Bai Guangxun,Cui Gingchang and li Da,the famous three poets who advocated to study Tang in the Joseon Dynasty,made the study of Tang poetry become the mainstream of that period.The poet Bai Guangxun was an expert in Jue-Ju(a four line poem with five or seven characters of a line and a strict tonal pattern and rhyme scheme) and with a style of the prosperous time of the Tang Dynasty,that is,the last two sentences mostly were not couplets and their meanings were in abrupt turn,and he was also good at borrowing the tactics of merging the feelings into scene and implicit expression.Especially his Jue-Ju of writing history was with a style of the middle and late Tang Dynasty: in content,his eyes were on the reality,which was similar to the Chinese poet Liu Yuxi in the middle Tang Dynasty while in art,he placed particular emphasis on expressing his thoughts and feelings in stead of describing the scene,which was similar to the Chinese poet Li Shangyin in the middle Tang Dynasty.His Ge-Xing also had the style of Tang poetry,that is,in content,his most writing is about women,frontier fortress,the upright character and personality charisma of literary men and so on,which was similar to the Ge-Xing in the Early Tang Dynasty.Besides,his poet writing was not limited to Tang poetry and his ancient poems with five characters of a line were with the style of poems in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.His Ge-Xing,in form,was similar to the Ge-Xing in the southern and northern courts and the Sui Dynasty,and in rhythmical sound of verse,his poems were similar to Eighteen Poems about Hard Journey by Bao zhao.However,the shortcoming of his poetry there was imitation.
