Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of cytokine-induced killer cells for the maintenance treatment of patients with advanced lung cancer. Methods 49 patients with advanced lung cancer as the experiment group received chemotherapy combined with CIK,and another 49 patients at the same period received chemotherapy alone as the control group. Results 2,4 and 8 weeks after the treatment, the levels of CD+3,CD+4T cells,CD+4/CD+8and cytokines IL-2 and IFN-γ were higher in the experiment group than in the control group. The effective rate was 48. 97 % and the control rate was 89. 80% in the experiment group, and the effective rate was 8. 16% and the control rate was 51. 02% in the control group. The type of cancer and metastasis showed great influence on curative effect. Conclusion Cytokine-induced killer cells can significantly improve the clinical efficacy in patients with advanced lung cancer.
