Abstract
Objective To understand the distribution characteristics and drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii in clinical specimens. Methods Infection and drug resistance of A.baumannii in our hospital from 2007 to 2008 was analyzed.110 strains of A.baumannii isolated from patients were identified by Vitek-32 microbial evaluation instrument and drug susceptibility tests were performed. Results and Conclusion Ninety-nine strains(90%) of A.baumannii were found in phlegm.Thirty-one strains(28.2%) of A.baumannii were from intensive care unit(ICU),seventeen strains(15.2%) from respiratory room.A.baumannii had a higher susceptibility to imipenem(87.6%),and to other cephalosporins antibiotics the resistance rate was more than 70%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
