Research on the Diversity of Birds in Baiyinkulun of Inner Mongolia

To shed light on the relationship between diversity of birds and plants in different habitats,the species of the plant and the bird were investigated in August of 2007 and 2008,by the way of quadrats and fixed distance line transects in Baiyinkulun wetland and Hunshandake sand,Inner Mongolia.Shannon-Wiener index,Pielou index and density were used to discuss the data.Results showed that the similarity between the two habitats is low;the diversities of the plant communities had great influences on the bird communities;the average constructors of bird communities influenced the diversities of plant communities.
