Interactive Development of Bai Ethnic Group's Traditional Culture and Tourism in Dali

To build a harmonious socialist society is an important task in China at present.It is especially significant for Yunnan,a frontier province with a diversity of ethnic groups,for it can ensure the security of the border and the stability of the country.Located in the west of Yunnan Province,Dali is densely populated by the Bais.Exploiting Bai people's traditional cultural resources to develop the tourism industry featured with folk custom and culture,it has become a model of building the harmonious society.The interactive development between Bai ethnic group's traditional culture and tourism has promotional effects on poverty elimination,social stability,harmony among ethnic groups and between man and nature in Bai district.Therefore,the government should have a clear guidance in developing traditional culture of Bai people,excavate the value of the folk cultural products,and link it with the tourism industry to form tourism products with distinctive features,so that Bai ethnic group's traditional culture and tourism can be developed harmoniously in interactions.
