Reflection on the Dilemma of Ethnic Tourism Development from the Perspectives of Post-modernity: A Case Study of Shuanglang Bai Village in Dali of Yunnan Province

Ethnic tourism displays striking characteristics of post-modernity mainly in four aspects—authenticity,humanity,ecology and experience. Ethnic culture is the core and soul of ethnic tourism,as well as the most basic elements of tourism resources. Nevertheless,it is facing a sharp conflict with modern commercial culture. To avoid the conflict,rational planning and development of tourism resources is required,and the promotion of inheritance and development of ethnic culture should be implemented. In this way a sustainable development trend is expected to come into being.
