Clinical Study of Granisetron for Cisplatin Induced Vomiting in 53 Cases

To investigate efficacy of granisetron for cisplatinum induced nausea and vomiting.Fifty-three cases with malignancy receiving2courses of cisplatin based combination chemotherapy were random-ized into2groups(with granisetron or maxolon).The antiemetic efficacy was compared between the2groups.Granisetron was supetrior to metoclopramide in the prevention of nausea and vomiting with significant dif-ference(P0.05).The rate of toxicity occurred in2group was not significantly different.[Conclusion]Granisetron is a good choice drug in the prevention of chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting.
