Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and side effects of domestic Granisetron injection for the prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapeutic agents. Methods Eighty-nine patients were randomly divided into four groups, which were separately domestic Granisetron(A group),Ondansetron(B group),Metoclopramide(C group) and imported granisetron (D group). Results Domestic Granisetron was as effective as imported Granisetron(P0.05)in the control of nausea and vomiting, both of them were superior to Ondansetron and Metoclopramide(P0.01). Conclusion Domestic Granisetron was effective in controlling nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapeutic agents for lung cancer and has low side effects.
