Abstract

Confucian theory of moral quality is discussed in this paper.It is realized that the ideal moral quality is benevolence put forth by Confucius.Honesty and frankness are premises of benevolence.Love is the content of benevolence.Putting oneself in the place of another is the way of love.Ethical norm is the social demand of benevolence,and abiding by ethical norm can achieve righteousness.It's concluded that peope with benevolence will lead a happy life.
