On Benevolence and its Enlightenment on Contemporary Moral Education

Benevolence is the core of Confucius′ ethics and morals.Different from the modern interpretation of it in the ontology system,this paper explores the benevolence in contemporary moral education from the perspective of methodology.The core value of benevolence is the values about oneself and relations among human,the ethical order to pursue the harmony on oneself and his society.Its moral education method of self-reflection and cautiousness,moral education law of understanding,pursuing and realizing benevolence can be integrated into contemporary moral education,providing the methodology enlightenment on educational idea,objects,methods and educational goal and contents.
