Abstract
A virus strain was isolated from affected quail with breathing difficulty and yellow-green excrement.It was characterized as Newcastlt Disease Virus(NDV)by hemagglutination test,hemagglutination inhibition test,inoculation of embryos after neutralization using particular sera, challenge with 2-week chicken and the determination of aetiological characters.Dtermination on mean death time (MDT) of embrous,intracerebral pathogenicity index(ICPI) and intrveinal pathogenicity index(IVPI)res of the isolates showed that the isolated NDV strain was highly virluent pathogenicity.
