DETERMINATION OF FLAVONOIDS IN HIPPOHAE RHAMNOIDES LEAF FROM NATURAL FOREST IN DATONG COUNTY

Abstract

The amount of flavonoids in Hippohae rhamnoides L.leaf was determined with spectrophotometry at 415nm.The regression equation with rutin was y=8.3684xC+ 0.0049,r2=0.9996,the precision test and stability test was: RSD=0.04%(n=6),RSD = 0.138%(n= 6) respectively,the average recovery of flavonoids was 99.05%,RSD=1.28(n=5).The stability test of the sample,RSD was 1.201%(in 60min).The method featured easy operation and high accuracy,and was fast and feasible for the determination of Hippohae rhamnoides L.leaf flavonoids.Analysis showed that the flavonoids content of Hippohae rhamnoides L.leaf from Datong County,Qinghai province was the higher than those in the lowland areas in previous reports.Compared with other plant,the flavonoids content of Hippohae rhamnoides L leaf was also with a relatively higher level.
