Abstract

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of marrow stem cells transplantation on the acute liver injury of rats by different pathway. Methods: The model of acute liver injury in rats was established by the injection of CCL4.The marrow stem cells were transplanted by liver parenchyma injection or through portal vein. The therapeutic effects were evaluated and compared. Results:The serous albumin levels in the experimental groups were significantly higher than that of the negative control(P0.05),and was significantly higher in the parenchyma injection group than that of the portal vein group. The aminotransferase activities(ALT and AST) in the parenchyma injection group were statistically higher than those of the portal vein group. Conclusion:The marrow stem cells transplantation enhances the recovery of serous albumin level in the rats with acute liver injuries. The injection of marrow stem cells into liver parenchyma causes hepatic lesion.
