Therapeutic effects of Huganning pill on patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis

[Objective] To observe the therapeutic effects of Huganning pill on the patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.[Methods] One hundred and sixty-five patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)were selected and divided randomly into two groups: treated group(n=110) and control group(n=55),which were treated with Huganning pill and tiopronin tablets respectively.Before and after treatment for 6 and 12 weeks,the parameters of liver function and blood fat were detected for the patients of both groups.[Results] The parameters of liver function and blood fat in the patients of both groups were all improved obviously after treatment compared with pretherapy(P0.05).In 6 and 12 weeks of post-treatment,the improvement of liver function in the patients of treated group had no significant difference compared with control group(P0.05).In 12 weeks of post-treatment,the decrease of triglyeride in the patients of treated group had a significant difference compared with control group(P0.05).[Conclusion]It has been suggested that Huganning pill has significant therapeutic effects on nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.Huganning pill improves liver function obviously,and its therapeutic effect of decreasing triglyeride is more excellent compared with tiopronin.Huganning pill has no side effects in the course of treatment,and is worth further application in clinic.
