Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship and value in diagnosis among KI-67, P53 and BCL-2 proteins with squamous cell carcinoma of cervix squamous cell carcinoma of cervix. Methods Immunohistochemistry method was used to detect the expression of three types gene proteins in 31 cases of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix, which was compared with 10 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 13 cases of chronic cervicitis meanwhile. Results The expression rates of KI - 67, P53 and BCL-2 proteins were 85%, 43. 5% and 58% in squamous cell carcinoma of cervix, were 100% , 10% and 0 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, were 15%, 8% and 8% in chronic cervicitis. The positive rates of KI-67 in squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia were higher than those in the chronic cervicitis( P 0. 001). The positive rates of P-53 and BCL-2 in squamous cell carcinoma of cervix were higher than those in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and the chronic cervicitis( P 0. 001). Conclusion KI-67.P53 and BCL -2 are related to the development of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix. The positive of KI-67 may be the early phenomena,and can be used to differentiate from the cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervicitis. P53 and BCL-2 are related to the occurrenc of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix,and can be used to differentiate from squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia to detect two proteins. It may facilitate the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix with immunohisto-chemistry detected polygene proteins at the same time.
