Abstract
A GC-ECD method for the determination of the residual organochlorine pesticides in two kinds of chinese medicines of Jiangxi Province was described using DB-1701 column. The residues were extracted from sample with acetone by saturating the extraction solvent with NaCl and simultaneously Liquid-Liquid partitioning by hexane. The extracts were cleaned up by concentrated H_2SO_4. The detection limits were 1.0×10~(-3)-5.0×10~(-3) mg/kg. Recoveries of organochlorine pesticides were 85.7%-115.2%. The method was applied to the determination of organochlorine pesticides in actual samples with satisfactory results.
