Abstract

The sterilized time of the tea explants, different antioxidants and adsorbents used, and different concentration of pH and agar were studied to reduce the browning rate of explants in tissue culture of tea tree. The results showed that the browning rate would decrease 57 % to 13.3 % when the surface disinfection suitable time lasted about 6min,and explants were inoculated on MS+6-BA 2.0 mg/L+NAA 0.2 mg/L+GA3 1mg/L + VB2 0.02 g/L of medium, with agar concentration to 5.0 g/L,pH of 5.6,and the growth of explants was in good condition.
