Study of expression of P27 in breast cancer and normal breast tissue

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of P27 in breast cancer tissue and normal breast tissue.Methods The expression of P27 was detected in 71 patients with breast cancer,32 patients with normal breast tissue by the immunohistochemical staining.Results The expression rate of P27 staining in breast cancer was 28.2%(20/71),being significantly lower than that of in normal breast tissue 84.4%(27/32)(P 0.05).Furthermore,the positive expression of P27 was associated with high grading and lymphytic metastasis(P 0.05).Conclusion The abnormal expression of P27 may associate with the occur of tumor,and associate with lymphytic metastasis.
