Abstract
Since it made a lot of great damage and project problems,the research of the expansive soil has become one of the important research directions in the field of geotechnical engineering in the world.In order to ensure the safety of the engineering construction of expansive soil areas,treatment should be carried out on the expansive soil.In many reinforcement methods,improvement method of expansive soil gets more and more attention and application.In this paper main research achievements of improvement technique of expansive soil were introduced systematically,which reflected the research present situation of expansive soil and provided a reference to the theoretical analysis and experimental research for expansive soil improvement.
