Improvement Expansive Soil on Highway Foundation

Abstract
The distributing status and the main engineering properties of expansive soil are briefly introduced.On the analysis of foundation default of expansive soil,a lime-improved experiment is carried through.The experiment results show that: the expansive and contractive properties of expansive soil can be largely reduced and can be used on highway.Finally,the construction technology of improved expansive soil is discussed.
