Technological Improvement for expansive ground treatment of Highway

Abstract
It is usually ineluctable for highway to get across expansive soil area during the constructing process. Expansive soil is a special soil with a bad nature which is perplexing highway construction,it will do great harm to highway if it's not well-treated. This paper analyzed the engineering properties of expansive soil,and presented its damage to highway,then proposed improvement methods and points for attention in construction of expansive soil.
