Review on Pretreatment Technology of Fuel Ethanol from Lignocellulosic Stuff

Abstract

Biomass energy,which is the fourth largest energy sources next to coal,oil,and natural gas,plays an important role in the whole energy system.Pretreatment methods of lignocellulose raw materials play a key role in industrialization of fuel ethanol.The pretreatment technologies of lignocellulose materials at home and abroad in recent years are discussed here.Meanwhile,the development prospect of lignocellulose for fuel ethanol was predicted.
