Abstract

The ancient buildings in Yi county,which have the style and characteristics of Hui-style architecture are the artistic treasure of residential architecture in the ancient China.The representative features of the ancient buildings in Yi county are residential courtyard,ancestral temple,stone pagoda and stone memorial archways.And the famous three carvings are brick carving,wood carving and stone carving.Moreover,couplets and horizontal inscribed boards are the two elegances with much cultural depsits.
