Abstract
The paper introduces Pingyao ancient city,research the city's architectural style from the most complete traditional buildings,points out the city is based on the traditional residential houses,in addition with the well-reserved ancient city walls,streets,alleys,and buildings,as well as other cultural heritages and relics,so its historical environment can be better reserved.
