Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of ipratropium bromide and salbutamol inhalation in adjuvant treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation(AECOPD).Methods 80 patients of AECOPD were divided into observation group and the control group, each including 40 cases. The two groups were all given comprehensive treatment, the observation group plus ipratropium bromide and salbutamol inhalation. The effective rate, wheezing, pulmonary rales, length of stay and changes of pulmonary function were observed in the two groups. Results The effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).The wheezing and pulmonary rales in the observation group improved more significantly, and length of stay in the observation group was significantly shorter than those in the control group(P0.01).The pulmonary function in the observation group improved more significantly after 30 min of inhalation treatment than that before treatment and in the control group with significant differences, including FEV1(P0.01),FEV1 pred%(P0.05),FVC(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of ipratropium bromide and salbutamol inhalation in adjuvant treatment of AECOPD is significant.
