Wang Guowei's Learning Transformation and Modern Crisis of Lyrical Tradition

This paper explores Wang Guowei's learning transformation.It examines the relationship between Wang Guowei's learning and the reality of late Qing and early Republican China.By introducing a perspective of modern emotional crisis,which has not been paid much attention to,the author wants to rethink Wang Guowei's response to the great transformation of the time.Wang Guowei's experience,including his suicide,reveals the complexity of Chinese lyrical tradition.
