Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between circadian rhythm young and ankle brachial index in middle-aged man patients with primary hypertension. Methods 464 middle-aged patients with primary hypertension were chosen from hospitalized patients in our hospital in 2012. They were divided into dipper type group( 256 cases) and non dipper type group( 208 cases) according to the results of ambulatory blood pressure. 24 h ambulatory blood pressure were recorded by ambulatory blood pressure meter,ABI,body mass index and blood biochemistry were measured. Results ABI in dipper type group was higher than that of non dipper type group( P 0. 05). Conclusion It is closely related between circadian rhythm with ankle-brachial index in middle-aged man patients with primary hypertension.
