Abstract
Objective To explore the circadian rhythm in elderly patients with Ambulatory blood pressure( ABPM). Method 24 h ABPM was measured 118 patients with essential hypertension, the male 68 cases, accounting for 57. 6%; Women in 50 cases, accounting for 42. 4%. The patients were divided into middle-aged( 40 ~ 64 years old),old( 65 ~ 79 years old) and aged( 80 ~ 91 years) three Middle aged group. Results The male of 24hDBP,dDBP,nDBP,NMBP were significantly high than the female, there have been statistical difference, the systolic blood pressure groups have no statistical significance. Middle aged group, old group and elder group patients with hypertension elevated systolic blood pressure increased with age group, diastolic blood pressure showed a downward trend. Middle aged group, old aged group and elder group of non dipper type hypertension detection rates were 65. 1%,75% and 93. 5%,With the increase of age group and non dipper type hypertension prevalence rate increased( Trend of χ2= 7. 759,P 0. 01). Conclusion Hypertension circadian rhythm of abnormal rate increased with the increase of age,Clinical treatment should be individualized according to the characteristics of the circadian rhythm of patients.
