Social Network Research on Urban Centrality within Shandong-Jiangsu-Henan-Anhui Provincial Boundary Region

Urban centrality which reflects the core functions and influence of regional central city is an important measure indicator.Urban centrality is an important topic of current research on regional development.This article selects 11 cities within Shandong-Jiangsu-Henan-Anhui provincial boundary region to research urban centrality issue,and applies social network analysis method to calculate regional transportation centrality,industrial centrality and attractive centrality.The research indicates: the region has an objective basis for development as a whole economic zone,and has two economic sub-regions of east and west;Xuzhou has the strong comprehensive advantages,and it is the most likely to become the central city of this region;Jining,Shangqiu,Zaozhuang,Heze also have their own advantages respectively.If these cities can get comprehensive promotion,they will become strong contenders for the central city in this region.
