Abstract

A catalytic membrane,supported on porous titanium plate and composed of SO~(2-)_4/?TiO_2(solid) superacid,was prepared.Catalytic activity of the film for esterification of ethanol and acetic acid was tested in a catalytic membrane reactor.Ethyl acetate yield of 94.8% was obtained under 110 ℃,(n(ethanol)∶) n(acetic acid)=1.5 and feed flow rate =3.0 mL·h~(-1).The membrane catalyst is convenient to regenerate and can be repeatedly used after calcination,without pollution to the environment.
