The effect of Qigui Shengbai Capsules on leukocytopenia induced by Cyclophosphamide and the nonspecific resistance in mice

Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of Qigui Shengbai Capsules on leukocytopenia induced by Cyclophosphamide and the nonspecific resistance in mice. Methods:The leukocytopenia model in mice was induced by Cyclophosphamide intraperitioneal injection and adopted to observe the effects of Qigui Shengbai Capsules on leukocytopenia induced by Cyclophosphamide,white blood cell count,red blood cell count,hemoglobin,the platelet count,thymus index and spleen in -dex were detected; mouse hypoxia tolerance in normal pressure influence and loaded swimming time were adopted to observe the effects of Qigui Shengbai Capsules on the nonspecific resistance in mice. Results:Qigui Shengbai Capsules sig-nificantly increased white blood cell count,red blood cell count,the platelet count,thymus index and spleen index ( P0.05 or P0.01),and mouse hypoxia tolerance in normal pressure influence and loaded swimming time were significantly prolonged (P0.05 or P0.01). Conclusion:Qigui Shengbai Capsules plays a significant role in promoting the recovery of Cyclophosphamide-induced hematopoietic function in mice,and can improve the nonspecific resistance of body.
