Effect of Shengbai Pills on Leukopenia Induced by Cyclophosphamide in Mice

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effects of Shengbai Pills on mice leukopenia models induced by cyclophosphamide.Methods:Mice leukopenia models were prepared by ip cyclophosphamide and then treated with Shengbai Pills. Peripheral white blood cell counts, bone marrow karyocyte counts and coefficients of thymus and spleen were determined.Results:Shengbai Pills could obviously increase the counts of white blood cell and bone marrow karyocyte,and coefficients of thymus and spleen of the leukopenia model.Conclusion:Shengbai Pills have apparent leukogenic effect.
