Abstract
The relationship between the ethnic cultural inheritance and education in the minority areas finds expression in their mutual influence and interaction.The influence of the ethnic cultural inheritance on education is related to the teaching of knowledge and skills,the intellectual and non-intellectual factors,the enhancement of the national consciousness and spirit and the control of the education content and channels.The influence of education on the ethnic cultural inheritance is related to the fostering of the psychological inheritance of ethnic cultures,the better protection and selection of the ethnic cultures and the control of the quality and quantity of the ethnic cultures.Education in a certain sense is a product and a motive force of the inheritance of ethnic cultures,while the inheritance of ethnic cultures is one goal of education while serving its goal.
