Abstract

Aim:To study the effects of combined use of 8 Br cAMP (Br) and quercetin (Q) on drug resistance in Eca 109 cells. Methods: The cultured Eca 109 cells were randomly divided into 4 groups: Br, Q, (Br+Q) and C (no any drugs) groups and were cultured 48 h simultaneously. Both cell and NCM specimens for each group were prepared. The immunocytochemistry for MRP, POLB and immunoblotting with TLC scanning were performed respectively. Results: The immunoreactivity (IR) showed: a) MRP IR, CBr, Q or (Br+Q) group, P 0.01; b) POLB IR, CBr, Q or (Br+Q) group, P 0.01. There was a significant positive correlation between MRP and POLB. Conclusion: 8 Br cAMP, quercetin or combined use of 2 drugs could decrease the drug resistance in Eca 109 cells, which may be benefit to clinical therapy.
