Expression and significance of COMMD1 in hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract

Objective:To determine the expression of COMM domain containin1(COMMD1)in hepatocelluar carcinoma tissue and explore its clinical and pathological significance.Methods: Immunohistochemical method was used to determine the expression of COMMD1.Then the relationship between COMMD1 expression and clinic-pathologic features was analyzed.Results: The expression of COMMD1 in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue decreased significantly than those in normal hepatic tissue.In addition,the decreasing expression of COMMD1 was significantly correlated with differentiation of malignancy or TMN staging(P0.05).However,there was no significant correlation between COMMD1 expression and vascular invasion(P0.05).Conclusion: Decreased expression of COMMD1 was shown in hepatocellular carcinoma and related to tumor differentiation degree and development,which made it valuable for clinical and pathological diagnosis.
