SURVEY OF KNOWLEDGE TO AIDS AMONG LIAONING RESIDENTS

[Objective]To assess the urban and rural residents for the prevention of AIDS-related knowledge,so as to carry out more targeted dissemination of knowledge of AIDS prevention and control activities and the production of materials to prevent the spread of AIDS,according to the State Council AIDS Working Committee Office of the design requirements of the questionnaire to the provincial capital Rural residents to guide the work of health education.[Methods]The multi-stage sampling method was conducted in 1080 residents in Shenyang to conduct a survey of urban and rural residents.By using statistical analysis of the survey,SPSS 11.0 software was used to establish database for data entry and statistical analysis of the sampling method.[Results]Firstly,there was no significant difference in the AIDS awareness between men and women.Secondly,of AIDS knowledge and awareness among the middle-aged crowd was significantly higher than that among the young population and elderly population.Thirdly,the AIDS knowledge awareness was significantly increased with improvement of educational level.Forthly,The awareness rate of students,farmers and the military's relatively was significantly than the student groups.[Conclusion]① AIDS knowledge publicity should pay attention to the importance of non-route of transmission,prevention measures,policy advocacy and mobilization the broad masses of medical personnel,including active participation in AIDS education,the use of radio and television publicity to build three-dimensional network in the whole society to create a good atmosphere for the prevention of AIDS.② The future work should be appropriate to the vulnerable groups tilt.
