Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the current situation of AIDS knowledge and attitude among rear personnel in rural areas,and explore the effective intervention strategies to prevention and control of AIDS for floating people and their family members at home.[Methods] 783 rural residents with mobile population aged from 15 to 59 years old respectively were inter-viewed by random-clustered sampling with the structured questionnaire by face to face.[Results] Knowledge of AIDS sourced from video,TV,friends and neighbors.The awareness of transmitted route could reached over 69%,and awareness rate of knowledge that mosquitoes do not transmit AIDS was less than 31%.They were afraid of keeping in touch with HIV infected per-son.The awareness rate of knowledge about AIDS in male was higher than that in female(P﹤0.001).With increasing of age,the rate of AIDS would go down gradually(P﹤0.05).Only 22.1% residents thought the migrant workers had the risk of being infected with AIDS.But most of them believed that it was necessary to carry out health education for migrant workers,and would like to communicate with migrant workers about AIDS knowledge.[Conclusion] The recognition about AIDS of rural rear per-sonnel should be improved further.AIDS health education was urgently for the family member of mobile population.It was urgent to conduct various popularized activities,strengthen media propaganda and face to face education to improve recognition of AIDS,so that to prevent AIDS epidemic among rural residents.
