Abstract

The results of the investigations on the wild vegetables resources in the Eastern Region of Guangdong Province are reported.In this region,127 species(not including edible wild fungi,pteridophyte and phycophte)of wild vegetables that belong to 51 families are recorded.The nutrition value,the health protection function and the present situation of main wild edible vegetables are analyzed.And some proposals on the conservation and utilization of them are put forward.
