Abstract
With China's social transformation in recent years,the sustained college expansion and the change of the employment mechanism of higher schools,the problem of unemployment of graduates of higher schools,especially of the ethnic graduates,is becoming more and more serious.This study,selecting three higher normal schools in Xinjiang as studying object,taking 2007 ethnic graduates as an investigation object and using some of the relevant data of 2004-2006 years as well,analyzes the employment status quo of the ethnic graduates of Xinjiang higher normal schools from five perspectives such as the preparation of employment and employment ideas.The paper also analyzes the causes of the difficult obtaining of employment for these students and provides some countermeasures.
