Characteristics of Penglai Tides and Tidal Currents at the Joint of Two Tidal Waves

The context studies the tidal characteristics in the waters off the E and W coasts of Penglai according to the actual observations of multi-stations.Under the impact of the semidiurnal constituents controlled by different tidal systems,the tides vary greatly on the E and W coasts,and the diurnal constituents with small magnitude is of less impact though under the same tidal system.The tidal currents there vary less as compared with the tides,and the changing characteristics of both the semidiurnal and diurnal tides and the changes of the corresponding partial tides are different.
