Abstract
Through the microstructure observation and mechanical properties test, and wearing test, a high strength HB400 grade low-alloy wear-resistant plate was studied. The influence of hot rolling + quenching, hot rolled + quenching + tempering at different temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of the HB400 steel were studied. The results show that the microstructure of testing steel plate is lath martensite after quenching, it has good strength and toughness combination and wear resistance. The microstructure is tempered martensite after tempering at 250 ℃, under the condition of strength and hardness of the steel not changing obviously, the wear resistant plate has better toughness. The steel has obtained high wear resistance.
