Current Status and Prospect of Study in China on Water Allocation of Inter-Basin Diversion Projects

Abstract

Water allocation of inter-Basin diversion projects is influenced by various aspects of factors.The operation of projects,pricing system,policies are the influential factors,and joint allocation of inter-basin diverted water and local water are key issues to be taken into account to get better solutions.The current situation of methodologies,mechanism of management and conception on allocation of inter-basin diverted water is reviewed in this paper.The relevant necessary technical issues for water allocation are presented and analyzed and the prospect in this field is pointed out.
